Puerta Steakhouse by Javanegra in Bali

"We had a wonderful dinner at Puerta Steakhouse last night! The entrance was grand and elegant, and the setting next to the golf course made for a beautiful atmosphere. Our group of 15 (10 adults and 5 kids) was comfortably seated at one of their large family-style tables, which was perfect for our gathering. The steak was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked to the medium rare we requested. The kids also really enjoyed their meals, especially the mushroom pasta, lamb fried rice, and fried calamari. Everything came out within 30 minutes, and the service throughout was warm and friendly. We appreciated that it was only a short 10-minute drive from our hotel. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and we’d definitely recommend it to families or groups looking for a great meal in Bali."

"Such a great dining experience! The Spandonesian concept is brilliant — a perfect fusion of Spanish flavours with Indonesian spices. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully balanced, especially the olive oil which really elevated the dishes. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and a truly unique menu. "We went there because they served different types of wagyu dishes. What a lovely place. Located in a golf resort amongst the trees, a little lovely walk to the restaurant from the main gate. We chose to seat outside on the terrace. The atmosphere was cosy, it wasn't busy, and the service was very friendly and quick. We went for wagyu burger and wagyu brisket which were very tasty. The brisket was very tender and the portions were very good size. They also had a good choice of drinks and desserts. Highly recommend."

"The Puerta Javanegra steakhouse restaurant can be accessed from the beaches of hotels such as the Ayodya, St. Regis, and Grand Hyatt, as well as from the main street of Jl. Terampong. The restaurant's exterior and interior are impressive. The building is new, with luxury materials used. The restaurant's menu consists of several sections: steaks themselves, as well as Spanish, Italian, and Indonesian dishes. I ordered striploin midium, a salad with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella, lemon tea, and a coffee dessert. The total bill was 605,000 rupiah, or about 37 USD. I was impressed with the dishes. I would rate the striploin an 8 on a scale of 0 to 10, as the meat was somewhat fatty and a little tough in places. I asked for less salt and pepper, and absolutely no garlic. The chef complied with my requests. Such requests are sometimes taken into account, sometimes not. It's like roulette. The pricing policy is average. It's not a warung or a Michelin-starred restaurant. I give it 5 stars from the bottom of my heart."

"Really delicious hot complimentary bread, I ordered more to pair it with gambas al pil-pil. The steak is amazing, paired with nice condiments and mash potato was also good. Would come back again"

"Staff is very friendly. We ordered 2 different steaks, perfectly cooked (medium). As entrée we had fried calamari and grilled morzarella with cherry tomatoes. Morzarella was verybtasty, calamari had to much crust. We ordered dessert as well. Cake was not to sweet. Just perfect. Price, quality and quantity fits for us. Will go there again."
